The family business was established in 1948 by Tony Camboni when he purchased a truck stop and café on Route 66 near the Cass Avenue and I-55 intersection. At that time, the interstate system was being developed, and Americans were taking to the roads often pulling small travel-type trailers behind their cars. Tony opened up a small section behind the truck stop for travelers to park their travel trailers overnight…and that was just the beginning.
Now we are proud owners of two great manufactured home communities, Country Club Park - an all age community in Countryside and Weeping Willow Ranch - an adult community in Hodgkins.
The business was passed to Tony’s two sons, Peter and Roy. Fast forward to the present and the third generation of Camboni’s are leading the company, Ric, Toni and Gary Camboni. One thing has always been consistent throughout the years, we offer affordable and quality housing in desirable communities.
